Shark NZ850UK vertical vacuum cleaner makes up for the lack of aesthetics in cleaning power

For a versatile two-in-one vacuum cleaner that can easily handle hardwood floors, carpets and anything else, the Shark Anti Hair Wrap upright vacuum cleaner and Powered Lift-Away NZ850UK (take their full name) are the winners. If you can ignore its bland appearance and heavy weight, this Shark vac is a product with excellent performance and great value for money.

This is a Shark Anti Hair Wrap upright vacuum cleaner with Powered Lift-Away NZ850UK review, only slightly longer than the official name of the product: this upright corded vacuum cleaner is Shark’s flagship vacuum cleaner and the best vacuum cleaner on the market one.

This reliable, upright corded vacuum cleaner is very popular in the UK—in fact, it may be the largest seller—and its functions are much more than just superficial. Shark makes many of the best vacuum cleaners on the market, and this upright vacuum cleaner may be their essence. As the name suggests, it can handle long hair well, and it also has an interesting "lift" function that allows you to use it as a cylinder vacuum cleaner, as well as its more common upright tasks. 

These are nothing if there is a lack of cleaning ability, but I found that the NZ850UK performs well on hard floors and carpets. Although it may not be awarded for the most fashionable vacuum cleaner, Shark's cleaning series has indeed won its favor in terms of practicality and performance. The best cordless vacuum cleaners—including the best Dyson vacuum cleaners—may be more stylish and modern, but many people still want the power and performance of a plug-in vacuum cleaner.

If you can put substance over style-only this time-this Shark is also one of the more affordable upright vacuum cleaners, especially when compared to its high-priced competitors. 

I called the latest version of Shark DuoClean Anti Hair Wrap NZ850UK for review, and this is what I think. But first, let's talk about the suggested retail price-today's best price should be displayed on it, usually a bit lower than the suggested retail price, but we are gone.

Shark DuoClean Anti Hair Wrap NZ850UK is priced at a reasonable £249, less than £349, available in the UK from Amazon, John Lewis and Very. 

This precise model is not available in the United States or Australia, and as you might expect, it ends in "United Kingdom". However, the good news is that each country has several very similar models with slightly different names.

One of the key functions is the "electric lift", which makes Shark's vacuum cleaner more versatile

The assembly of Shark NZ850UK is very simple, and it can be easily installed in place with a single click or release. Unlike some other vacuum cleaners, I don’t need to check manuals or use complicated accessories or gadgets.

There are several features that make this Shark NZ850UK stand out. First of all, its practical two-in-one "lifting" cylinder can be transformed into a convenient handheld device with a clamp, or it can be easily used with a magic wand to handle those overhead areas. The second is its DuoClean function, which can easily handle hardwood floors and carpets. Finally, there is the convenient anti-entanglement brush technology, which basically means that no more hair is caught in the drum-this is good news for people who are not bald and anyone who owns pets.

Of course, it is not the most attractive vacuum cleaner, and the design of the plastic button looks very basic. However, its blue metal trim and lighting settings are a good attempt to give it a modern update. It has three settings-hardwood, low-pile and deep-pile or carpet mode, and is equipped with a 1.3-liter dust collector. This is not as big as the others, so it may take a few walks to empty the trash can.

In addition, Shark NZ850UK is equipped with bright LED headlights on the motor head, which is always convenient when cleaning under low furniture or dark corners of the room. It is also equipped with convenient accessories, such as crevice tools, multi-face tools and anti-hair wraps, and pet electric brushes can be stored at the bottom of the cleaner.

The good news is that it is neat and compact and fits well in the locker, especially when there is not enough space. It is also equipped with an 8-meter-long power cord, which is enough to suck the entire floor. Having said that, I really miss the convenience of an instant retractable cord.

NZ850UK will clean up and down

Shark NZ850UK is very easy to use. You just need to push down on the base to sweep upright. Lifting and carrying a weight of 6.8 kg is obviously heavy, so if you need to go up and down stairs, this may be a problem. Nevertheless, the suction power is still considerable. The hardwood floor setting can quickly absorb debris, debris and surface dust in a few seconds. 

Shark NZ850UK performs particularly well on low-pile carpets, and does an excellent job of removing dirt, dust balls and hair strands. Although it can't adjust the power, its performance has left a deep impression on me. It sometimes creates a little suction on the carpet. Compared with other vertical vacuum cleaners, its motor brush is smaller, but the anti-hair wrapping function creates a miracle.

To clean my stairs in depth, I simply removed the jar and used the pet electric brush tool to hold my beige carpet. It's easy to take it up and down the stairs, and the brush tool is very suitable for immediately removing deep-rooted hair and surface dust.

Simply slide the eject button down to clear the air tank quickly and easily, but if you are going to perform a deep cleaning of the entire house, it may take a few times to empty. More importantly, it is very quiet, which is always a benefit if you don't want to disturb your neighbors in the morning!

On the debit side, sometimes it’s a bit awkward to enter the corner, probably because of its heavier weight. The weight and lack of wheels in "lift off" mode can also cause arm pain, although all Shark promotional photos show people holding it in one hand and vacuuming with the other.

For most people, these are fairly minor negative effects, and are easily overlooked by its versatility, impressive power, and excellent results. However, this means that this is not my best recommendation for people who are older, infirm, or who just like a beautiful and lightweight vacuum cleaner.

If you want a high-performance upright vacuum cleaner that doesn't cost you one arm and one leg, the Shark DuoClean Anti Hair Wrap NZ850UK is great value for money.

It may not look attractive or "sexy", but its cleaning job is so good that I can't fault it. From hardwood floors to low-pile carpets, Shark NZ850UK provides spotless results. Most importantly, there are no more tangled hairs in the brush roller to deal with! The two-in-one handheld function is very convenient, making cleaning the stairs a breeze.

Perhaps the only drawback is that it is a bit heavy to carry around. However, if you often use removable cylinders, this should not be a major problem. Overall, the impressive small upright vacuum cleaner will not disappoint.
