Realme TechLife Handheld Vacuum Cleaner Review: Clean your home without spending a bomb-Technology News

Earlier this year, when Realme stated that it wanted to explore areas beyond smartphones, it was serious. After having a complete catalog of IoT products, Realme now has a pair of vacuum cleaners, which were launched before the festival season in India. There are many good choices in the vacuum cleaner market, but it’s never too late to enter this market, especially when it comes to affordability. That's because vacuum cleaners have always been considered a luxury, and not every family can find it. With its new handheld vacuum cleaner, Realme hopes to bring vacuum cleaners into the mainstream.

The Realme TechLife handheld vacuum cleaner is priced at Rs 7,999, which is very affordable. However, due to the low price, there are some trade-offs. Unlike vacuum cleaners from brands such as Dyson, Realme’s cordless vacuum cleaners have limited vacuuming options, which is not bad, but may not be enough for some users. Nevertheless, in terms of its price, if you want to upgrade your house, the Realme TechLife handheld vacuum cleaner is an interesting choice. So, is the money worth it, and should you get it this Diwali? I will give you an answer in this review.

Cordless vacuum cleaners usually have a similar design. The handheld vacuum cleaner is a gun-shaped machine with three attachments, which is very basic for a vacuum cleaner, but I believe it can justify the price.

If you pay the highest price for a vacuum cleaner, you will have Dyson's V11 Absolute Pro vacuum cleaner with up to seven accessories. With Realme's vacuum cleaner, you will get an electric floor brush, crevice tool and two-in-one brush together with the main unit, which seem to be sufficient for my housework cleaning work. But if you think your house needs more tricky cleaning, I would say that Realme's vacuum cleaner is not the right choice. The dust box is under the handle and looks large enough to clean dust continuously for 9-10 times. I am glad that it is not troublesome to clean it because there are brushes in the box.

I especially like cleaning the room because it is effortless to use the Realme vacuum cleaner. Effortlessly, I mean the design of the main unit is very ergonomic. Of course, vacuuming with a stick requires manual labor, so if you want to get rid of it, I would say to use a robot vacuum cleaner. The height of the handle of the vacuum cleaner is just right, so it feels natural to hold it in your hand. Moving back and forth is cleaning work, thanks to the mini wheels on the electric floor cleaner, it is easy to sweep my room.

Realme provides a wall mount for the vacuum cleaner, so if there is space in a corner of your room or under the stairs, you can install the bracket with screws (also provided in the box). Another solution is to keep it in your room. The compact size of the vacuum cleaner makes it fit anywhere, even under your bed. The main motor has a flat bottom, so it remains stable no matter where it is placed. There is a charging port on one side, so make sure to place the cleaner near the power output for charging during idle time. The charger is included in the box.

Since the Realme TechLife handheld vacuum cleaner is one of the most affordable vacuum cleaners on the market, nitpick doesn't feel right. But I will tell you what features the device lacks compared to more expensive vacuum cleaners. For example, there is no way to tell the index of the suction power of a vacuum cleaner. Even though the vacuum cleaner has two modes-I will talk about it later, but there is no way to know the estimated operating time of my vacuum cleaner. This is a battery-powered vacuum cleaner, so time is very precious here.

However, when you plug in the vacuum cleaner to charge it, a stack of four lights on the front will flash. When you use the vacuum cleaner, these lights will also light up blue, so you can vaguely know how long the vacuum cleaner can be used. To be honest, if your room is small or even medium in size, this is not a big problem. Larger rooms may require a second charge.

A vacuum cleaner is the most convenient way to organize a room, but when you choose a cordless vacuum cleaner, you still need to perform physical cleaning. I point this out because most people think that the vacuum cleaner does not require any human intervention, so when you relax on the sofa, the vacuum cleaner will do the job for you. There is nothing wrong with this, but you must have a suitable vacuum cleaner for this. The correct type is a robot vacuum cleaner.

However, if I talk about myself and people who live in hotels or have no family, Realme’s TechLife handheld vacuum cleaner is a good choice. That's because it is easy to clean with this. When I had to sweep the floor, I connected the electric floor cleaner (including a long rod) to the main unit. The cavity mechanism makes the accessories fit tightly with the help of pins, so I can care more about cleaning than whether the machine will be disassembled. I had to walk back and forth in a straight line to better clean my room, but no one stopped you from playing (I know because I did it).

You can choose between two settings according to how dirty the floor is. For very untidy and dusty floors, choose the strong mode, and for daily dust removal, you can choose the soft mode. Obviously, the soft mode consumes less power, so the battery life will be longer. Realme stated that it can last 40 minutes when vacuuming in this mode, while the powerful mode reduces the running time to 20 minutes. However, I find that I mostly use the second type for two reasons: a) it is satisfying to hear the rumble in strong mode, and b) my area is usually dirty enough for intensive cleaning.

However, this sound can be annoying due to prolonged use, especially at night. Therefore, before you start cleaning the room at night, please think twice. The soft mode is less noisy, but the function is also weaker.

The crevice tool is suitable for cleaning sofa cushions and discarded corners that bite dust. I used this tool to clean up my kitchen shelf satisfactorily, only to find that rats piled up a lot of garbage there. I think this crevice tool may be the best choice for cleaning narrow places, and since Diwali is coming, you will appreciate its help. Similarly, the two-in-one brush is suitable for cleaning door mats, shelves, and even displays in your home. But although the cleaning effect is good, I never really understood how helpful the brush in this tool is.

Realme's vacuum cleaner uses a HEPA filter to clean the dust with a single cyclone system. Considering that there is no dust on the floor after vacuuming, I think this is effective. However, I want to point out that even at full speed, sometimes the suction power of 9.5KPa can feel a bit mediocre. When I clean up tricky places, such as the shelves or windows of my desk. The size of the mouth of these cleaning tools is another factor that you cannot use them anywhere.

All the dirt you wipe will enter the dust box, which is very easy to clean. Simply slide the switch up to open the lid. Make sure to open the lid in an easy-to-clean place, as tiny dust particles will fly in the air as soon as they are released. Using a brush will ensure good cleaning, but you can use a damp cloth for thorough cleaning. The trash can may also be stained with dust and water that you may wipe off when you vacuum, so please choose the correct cleaning method.

Realme TechLife Handheld Vacuum Cleaner Review: Should you buy it?

The Realme TechLife handheld vacuum cleaner has a release price of Rs 7,999, which is a very worthwhile vacuum cleaner, especially when Diwali is approaching. House cleaning and painting in Indian households may be in progress, so if you want to save some time for other things, using a vacuum cleaner sounds like the right approach. Even in small rooms, the compact size of the vacuum cleaner should not be a problem, and the charging mechanism allows it to be used anywhere. Some minor inconveniences, such as noisy noise and fewer cleaning options, will not be a bad deal because of the price, but if you think they will be a problem, you can choose more expensive ones.
