Dyson DC59 Animal offers impressively powerful suction power, a lightweight bagless design, and includes a detachable wand that provides excellent versatility. However, you will definitely pay a high price for its convenience.

Dyson claims that its latest flagship cordless vacuum cleaner, the DC59 Animal, is as powerful as a full-size model with a brand new 350W digital V6 motor. DC59 Animal offers impressively powerful suction power, a lightweight bagless design, and includes a detachable straw that provides excellent versatility. However, you will definitely pay a high price for its convenience.

The Dyson DC59 Animal mimics many of the design features of the company's full-size bucket vacuum cleaner, but on a much smaller scale. The company claims that the device uses 15 cyclones distributed in two layers to increase airflow and thereby capture more particles during cleaning. The cyclone is imitated on the top of the DC59 Animal, with a smooth chrome finish, a detachable filter in the middle, and a bagless transparent trash can at the bottom.

The release device to open the transparent trash can is a bit clumsy in front of the handle, but it can be emptied in two ways. Press the red button once to open the trash can base, and press it a second time to let you release the trash can from the main body. The jar does not hold a lot of dust, so you will most likely empty it regularly, especially if you use DC59 Animal between regular cleanings.

The operation of DC59 Animal is extremely simple. Pull the red trigger on the handle to start cleaning immediately, then release to stop. The trigger handle requires the user to hold it down during the entire operation, but Dyson said this can extend battery life.

The "Max" button on the back of the device activates the boost mode, thereby increasing the suction power to clean stubborn dirt or dust that may not be able to be sucked up in the normal mode. The enhanced mode is indicated by the blue LED ring around the button, which glows when it is active. It is much louder than the regular mode, but the suction power is significantly enhanced.

The real advantage of the Dyson DC59 Animal lies in its powerful suction power and versatility due to the included tools. The large electric head designed to clean hard and carpeted floors is the main attraction, but Dyson also bundles a smaller mini electric tool, which is perfect for cleaning upholstery, standard crevice tools and combo accessories including brushes tool. The conventional DC59 model (no animal brand) gives up mini power tools, which is $50 cheaper.

The detachable wand of DC59 supports all the accessories that come with it, but after removing it basically turns the device into a powerful and compact dust collector. These tools can be directly connected to the device without the use of a magic wand. Mini power tools are a special highlight, especially suitable for cleaning material lounge kits or car interiors. Thankfully, installing and releasing the tool is as easy as clicking the accessory button and turning the tool on or off.

DC59 Animal's large floor tools also provide impressive performance. It can handle hard floors and carpets relatively easily, and we find that its suction power is usually comparable to a full-size bucket vacuum cleaner. The floor tool occasionally misses slightly larger objects, such as a small crumpled piece of paper, but the enhanced mode can usually pick up these objects without problems.

The battery life is improved compared to the previous model, but the DC59 can only last up to 20 minutes when using the standard slit tool or the connected combination accessory tool. Large and small power tools can provide you with up to 17 minutes of battery life, and activating the boost mode will shorten the battery life to only 6 minutes.

When you don't want to pull out a full-size vacuum cleaner, the battery life is certainly enough to clean a strange room, but you don't want to clean the entire family. The battery is charged through the included AC adapter. Dyson also includes a wall-mounted bracket that can be connected to the adapter for charging during docking. Dyson does not include the wall screws used to connect the bracket, which is a bit strange, but the bracket itself is very convenient, and there is space to store gaps and assembly tools.

In addition to battery life, another important caveat is cost. The retail price of Dyson DC59 Animal in Australia is US$649, which is certainly not cheap. While the convenience and suction power it provides is indeed impressive, it is a major investment for a vacuum cleaner designed purely for quick cleaning-not to replace a full-size wired machine.

Dynabook Portégé X30L-G

In the end, this laptop fulfilled all my expectations of a laptop while incorporating it into an extraordinary shape and weight.

This smart laptop is pleasant to use and great at work-creating content is very simple.

It really doesn't have more "gaming laptops" than this.

As the Maserati or BMW in a laptop, it is very suitable for professionals who need firepower under the hood, superficial sophistication and first-rate gaming ability (sports mode) in between.

The MSI PS63 is an amazing laptop, and I will definitely consider buying it in the future.

This small mobile printer is exactly what I need for invoices and other tasks, such as sending peer details or step-by-step instructions, which I can easily print from my mobile phone or the Web.
