Taking advantage of the many end of financial year (EOFY) sales happening in the coming weeks is a great way to purchase a new vacuum cleaner at a discounted price.

In Australia EOFY will fall on Thursday, June 30 2022. However, the date for EOFY changes country to country.
In New Zealand EOFY falls on March 31, while in the United Kingdom EOFY is on April 5.
EOFY sales occur in the lead-up to June 30, so expect discounts to go live in the weeks prior to then.

WHAT DOES EOFY STAND FOR?
EOFY stands for “end of financial year” and is an important date for anyone who owns a business.
In Australia EOFY marks the date for when you can start filing your tax return and if you run a business it’s when you would complete tasks like an inventory stocktake, summaries of debts and assets as well as other financial reports.
WHAT TYPE OF EOFY DEALS ON VACUUMS CAN I EXPECT?
One of the best things about EOFY is that you can expect discounts big and small on a wide variety of big ticket appliances.

ARE EOFY SALES WORTH IT?
In short, yes as it’s a time when a lot of companies will try to move excess stock by offering big discounts.
It’s also one of the few sales we get in the middle of the year — so if your vacuum is about to croak it, EOFY is probably your best shot at a good deal until November.
While summer has Black Friday and Boxing Day sales that start in November and last well into January, discounts are far and few between once you get to the middle of the year.
